What you’ll do
We are seeking a Dispensing Representative, Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team, on-site, in our Lethbridge, Alberta facility.
- You will oversee the pharmaceutical website for management of client prescriptions, dispensing, and annual renewal of prescriptions
- You will be working in our warehouse, picking product and packing orders, shipping product, dispensing and receiving pharmaceuticals and invoicing clients
- You will use the internal accounting system to manage daily operations
- You will provide exceptional customer service (including taking orders, client education, handling questions and concerns from our customers over the phone and in person.)
- You will be responsible for inventory management including monitoring of short dated and soon to be expired products
- You will manage the transfers to different clinic locations
- You will deliver products to clients as required
- You will assist with various veterinary tasks, including surgeries, semen testing, and pregnancy testing
What you bring
- You hold a Veterinary Technologist or Animal Health Technologist Diploma
- You are computer savvy
- You have the ability to prioritize warehouse operations both with a team and as an individual
- You are an experienced customer service professional
- You are detail oriented and have the ability to multitask under pressure
- You enjoy working in a physically demanding position (can lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds)
We will consider recent graduates who are awaiting the completion of the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE)
Great to have
- MS Excel, MS Word and Google Workspace experience is an asset
- Basic understanding of feedlot, cow/calf, and dairy production as well as the cattle industry
This position includes a full health benefits package which includes payment of ABVMA dues and CE allowance. Training includes a forklift certification.
Hours of work are generally 8:30am – 4:30pm with a 1/2 hour paid lunch, Monday to Friday; but flexibility is required to meet daily workload. This is a full-time position.
