- Asurion Consumer Solutions of Canada Corp. (“Asurion”) is the provider of certain aspects of the Services, including, but not limited to, technical support and device protection. Your use of the Services provided by Asurion, including Asurion’s mobile app and web portal, is subject to Asurion’s HomePro Terms of Service. In British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan, the device protection plan included in HomePro Plus is underwritten by the Canadian branch of Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. Technical support begins on day 1 of enrollment. Protection coverage for mechanical and electrical breakdowns on eligible products, including accidental damage from handling for certain portable products, begins on day 31 of enrollment. Any pre-existing conditions or breakdowns that occur before day 31 are not covered. Excludes coverage for smartphones and any products that are leased or rented. Routers and modems leased from your internet service provider are not covered. If you need to make a claim, a service fee of up to $99, plus applicable taxes, may be charged, depending on the product. There is a $2,500 maximum amount paid per claim and a total claims paid limit of $5,000 within a rolling 12-month period. Claims may be fulfilled with non-original parts or new, refurbished, or remanufactured products. Limitations and exclusions apply.
