We are seeking a temporary Consultant Assistant, for an 18 month assignment, who will provide critical administrative and analytical support to our consulting team, helping drive client success through efficient project coordination, data management, and stakeholder communication.
What you’ll do:
- Conduct cutting-edge digital necropsies at client feedlot sites using state-of-the-art technology
- Collect and process biological samples for advanced laboratory analysis
- Manage and distribute pharmaceuticals in compliance with industry regulations
- Collaborate with veterinarians on clinical procedures and regulatory compliance
- Utilize NIR technology for feed analysis and data collection
- Perform data entry and analysis using specialized agricultural software
- Contribute to cross-functional projects and support internal teams
- Adapt to a dynamic work environment with diverse responsibilities
What you bring:
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and comfort with daily short to medium-distance travel
- Proficiency in Windows-based software and agricultural data management systems
- Familiarity with the agriculture industry and its unique challenges
- Physical capability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Flexibility to work beyond traditional 9-to-5 hours to meet project deadlines
- Availability for scheduled rotations, including weekends
- Strong independent work ethic balanced with excellent teamwork skills
- Resilience and enthusiasm for year-round outdoor work
- Positive attitude and willingness to support various aspects of operation
Great to Have
- Experience working with cattle or other livestock
- Background in agricultural science, veterinary technology, or related fields
- Certifications in animal handling or agricultural practices
- Knowledge of sustainable farming techniques and technologies
- Experience with data analytics or agricultural software platforms
