TELUS Home Services referral program FAQ

To be eligible to participate in the program as a referrer, you must be an existing TELUS Home Service customer with an active My TELUS account and your account must be in good standing.

In order to be an eligible Referrer for the TELUS Rewards referral program, a customer must log in to the TELUS Rewards portal and accept the terms and conditions of the TELUS Rewards program.

TELUS team members, contractors, sales representatives acting on TELUS's behalf and associates at retail locations who receive special pricing are excluded from these referral programs.

Corporate and business accounts are not eligible.

Please note that final eligibility assessment is at TELUS’ sole discretion.

You can refer a friend or family member. Referrals are not eligible if you are on the same account as the person you want to refer.

The referrer and referee must subscribe to one of the following plans to be eligible for the referral reward:

: Only SmartHome Security is available across Canada. All other listed products are available in Alberta and British Columbia only.

All referrals must be made using the respective referral platform using your MyTELUS credentials online by logging in to MyTELUS.

Through your referral dashboard, you will be able to share your personal referral link to your friends and family members.

If the individual being referred is interested, they can fill out the callback form on the referral landing page, which can be located through the personal referral link you have shared with them. A TELUS representative will contact them to complete their Home Service product referral.

The referrer will receive 5,000 TELUS Rewards points for each eligible TELUS service activated by the referee. The TELUS Rewards points will be applied to the customer’s TELUS Rewards account once the referral criteria has been met. Customers can obtain a maximum of 25,000 TELUS Rewards points per year for activated Home Solutions products.

The referee will receive a minimum of $50 one-time bill credit per successful activation of a Home Services product.

There is no limit to the number of referrals that a referrer can submit. In the program, there is a maximum of 250 TELUS Rewards points per year for activated Home Solutions products.

Depending on your reward, the receipt can vary. Once a referral has been successfully verified and installation is confirmed, the reward process will begin:

Yes, you can refer a customer who has an existing service with TELUS. However, the existing service cannot be the product the referee is referred for.

If you cancel your Home Services plans before your bill credit can be applied, the reward will be null and void.

The credit provided is discretionary and includes applicable taxes (based on the taxes levied in the province of supply). Therefore, the value displayed on your bill is the value before tax. For more information and examples that apply to other Home Services, please visit
