Reset your device's apps to their factory defaults if you are having trouble with your device; personal information will not be deleted. This can be a step in troubleshooting.

  1. Note: If you're having device performance issues, resetting your settings may help.

    From the Home screen, drag down the Notification panel.

    The indicator is towards the top.
  3. Step 2/9

    Tap the Settings icon.

    The indicator is in the top right.

    Scroll to General management.

    The indicator is towards the bottom.
  5. Step 4/9

    Tap General management.

    The indicator is in the center.
  6. Step 5/9

    Tap Reset.

    The indicator is in the center.
  7. Step 6/9

    Tap Reset settings.

    Note: Resetting your settings will reset all customized settings on your phone. Personal information will not be deleted.
