Replacing your mobile device
No matter where you are in your contract term, you can replace your lost or stolen device using one of the following methods:
- Purchase an affordable new or refurbished mobile device
- Take advantage of our anytime device upgrades (some conditions apply)
If you already have your new device and it uses the same SIM card size as your current phone, you can simply transfer your SIM into it.
If you're an existing customer and you'd like to change phones:
- Have your IMEI and SIM card ready.
- When you're ready to switch phones, contact us.
Note: Switching phones through self-serve is not available to reduce the risk of fraud and identity theft. We have implemented additional security questions because at TELUS, we strive to keep our customers' personal and account information secure.
