You can find instructions for self-installation in our support section. In select locations, you can also book professional installation at a flat fee of $200 plus tax.

1. Check eligibility: Click on the device you want to purchase. If Professional Installation is available, it will be indicated below the ‘Add’ button for the product.
2. Purchase your device: Add the device and subscription to your cart and complete your purchase.
3. Schedule installation: After your purchase, log into your My TELUS account. There, you can schedule an installation appointment. You’ll find out if your address is eligible during this process.

If you cancel, auto-renew will be disabled immediately. You’ll still have access to your subscription until the end of your subscription period. You will not receive a refund.

You might have taken advantage of an introductory offer for energy-saving smart devices to pair with your subscription. If that applies to you and you cancel your SmartEnergy subscription within 24 months of your start date, we will charge your account for the full value of discounts previously applied on your SmartEnergy devices.

The TELUS SmartHome+ Hub allows security sensors, such as Smoke/CO detectors, to connect to your system.

If you are an existing SmartHome+ customer with a panel (installed before December 10, 2025), you will need to replace it with our new Automation Hub. To begin this exchange, please call 1-855-255-8828.
