Understanding the privacy of your video cameras

How the privacy of images captured by your cameras is ensured

Information on the privacy of your video cameras

By default, the account owner is the only one who can see any cameras associated with the account. The account owner may grant access to other account members (logins) to view a camera or multiple cameras, as required.

The cameras use advanced MD5-based "digest authentication" for user authentication. For security and privacy reasons, TELUS team members cannot set a password for a TELUS SmartHome User. Since TELUS and our partners do not have access to your Wi-Fi network, we also will not have access to any images or videos captured by the cameras.
