How to cancel an alarm using your mobile app

The Cancel Alarm option allows users to respond to alarm events directly through their app and to let the Monitoring Station know when the cause might be accidental.

When an alarm is triggered, the Control Panel will sound the siren and display a red alarm screen. The Cancel Alarm button will appear on the home screen of your TELUS Smart Security mobile app for two minutes. If the alarm is false, you can press and hold for three seconds.

When the button is pressed, a disarm signal is sent to the panel, just like disarming directly at the panel.
