Current Step: 1 - From the Home screen, drag down the Notification panel.
You can verify that your settings are working by turning off Wi-Fi and accessing the internet using your cellular network. If it does not work, restart your device. Often rebooting the device is necessary for new APN settings to start working.
  1. 1 - From the Home screen, drag down the Notification panel.
  2. 2 - Tap the Settings icon.
  3. 3 - Tap More.
  4. 4 - Tap Mobile networks.
  5. 5 - Tap Access Point Names.
  6. 6 - Tap the Menu icon.
  7. 7 - Tap Add APN.
    • Note: Some fields may populate automatically during setup.
  8. 8 - Tap Name.
    • Note: Enter "TELUS".
  9. 9 - Tap APN.
    • Note: Enter "sp.telus.com".
  10. 10 - Tap MMSC.
    • Note: Enter "http://aliasredirect.net/proxy/mmsc".
  11. 11 - Scroll to MMS Proxy.
  12. 12 - Tap MMS Proxy.
    • Note: Enter mmscproxy.mobility.ca.
  13. 13 - Tap MMS Port.
    • Note: Enter 8799.
  14. 14 - Tap MCC.
    • Note: Enter "302".
  15. 15 - Tap MNC.
    • Note: Enter "220".
  16. 16 - Tap APN type.
    • Note: Enter "default,supl,mms".
  17. 17 - Tap the Menu icon.
  18. 18 - Tap Save.
  19. 19 - Select your new Access Point Name.
  20. 20 - You've completed the steps!
