A feature on a mobile device that provides the information you need right when you want it. Set it up to automatically give you local weather in the morning, traffic information before you leave home, calendar appointments that are coming up and more.

Using your Google Assistant, you can use voice commands to perform certain actions like sending an email or starting a phone call hands free.

  1. Note: For this tutorial, we're showing how to set an alarm. However, you can use your voice to search the web or your device, get directions, create a calendar event and more.

    There are no indicators associated with this step.

    From the Google app main screen, tap the Microphone icon.

    The indicator is towards the right.
  3. Step 2/3

    Speak "Set an alarm" followed by a time.

    Note: To edit this alarm further you can go to the Clock app.
