Current Step: 1 - From the Settings app, tap Connections.
Roaming allows you to continue your data connection outside of your main coverage area. You can set access to Data Roaming while you're on a trip. Data while you're in the US (including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands) will be billed according to your data plan. However, higher charges will apply if you're traveling outside of those coverage areas.
  1. 1 - From the Settings app, tap Connections.
  2. 2 - Tap Mobile networks.
  3. 3 - Tap or slide the Data Roaming Access switch to ON.
    • Note: Turning data roaming on allows you to connect to data services while roaming. Turn data roaming off to keep from incurring significant charges.
  4. 4 - You've completed the steps!
