We take data security and privacy extremely seriously. All of TELUS Health MyPet's clinical procedures meet or exceed industry and legal standards. We retain veterinary records in accordance with veterinarian regulations and all data is securely transmitted using industry-recognized encryption methods.
Will the notes from my virtual appointment be shared with my family veterinarian?
Yes, when requested, we will securely send a copy of your pet's TELUS Health MyPet medical records to your family veterinarian.
Are the virtual appointments private?
Yes, all of the veterinarians will conduct appointments from a private space. To ensure privacy on your end, please find a quiet and well-lit space where you feel comfortable and won't be disturbed.
All appointment records are encrypted and accessible only to you, members of the TELUS Health MyPet support team overseeing your pet's care and to your family veterinarian should you consent to having a copy of your pet's telemedicine records sent to your primary care veterinarian.
