Steps to modify the name of your sensor

You can customize your sensor names to better manage your security system. Here are the instructions on how to update the name of your sensor(s). If you have any questions, please contact TELUS at

: The sensor name cannot be modified using the TELUS SmartHome app.

  1. Log in to the
    web portal

  2. In the Sensors card, click
    >

    sensors card-sensors

  3. In the Sensor Name column, enter the new name for the desired sensor

    sensor name

  4. Click
    Save
    when complete
