Our high-speed internet plans vary by location. Thanks to our expanding next-generation fibre network, the vast majority of our customers now qualify for multi-gigabit speeds. We offer plans ranging up to 5,000 Mbps (5 Gigabit Internet), all of which include unlimited data.
What is considered a “good” high-speed internet connection depends on your online lifestyle, the number of people in your household and the number of connected devices in your home. You can never have too much speed, and it’s good to have some extra speed for when you need it. TELUS PureFibre Internet plans with download speeds of 1.5 Gbps and upload speeds of 940 Mbps will let you get more done quickly, so you don’t miss out on online experiences.
Download speed means how quickly you can receive data from the internet. When you’re browsing websites or streaming music or video, it’s the download speed that matters. Upload speed means how quickly you can send data to the internet. This is important for high-quality video conferencing, uploading large files, and especially for intensive online gaming.
With today’s digital demands, the amount of data a home needs is constantly growing.
