You must have a TELUS Mobility or Koodo account in your personal name or be an authorized user on your account. PC Mobile accounts do not qualify for the discount.

How do I qualify for the $10/month home discount for the term on my SmartHome Security Plan?

You must have one or more home services with TELUS including: Home phone and/or PIK TV and/or Optik TV and/or High Speed Internet.

TELUS SmartHome Security has two installation options.

Self-Install

You can do-it-yourself:

- If you are comfortable with basic home repairs and using a ladder, you can do-it-yourself.
- You'll get a Self-install Kit with all your devices and necessary instructions.
- Install on your own time with online guidance and call-in support if you need it.
- A $100 kit fee is charged on self-install orders and is 100% refundable when service is activated within 30 days of order.

Professional Installation

We can do it for you:

- Our professional technicians will do a safety assessment before installing your order.
- If the guidelines are met, we'll arrange an appointment and they will wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the entirety of the install.
- Is recommended for most customers and includes one-time installation charges ranging from $150 to $450.
