Current Step: 1 - From the Home screen, tap Settings.

  2. 2 - Scroll to Face ID & Passcode.
  3. 3 - Tap Face ID & Passcode.
    • Remarque : If necessary, enter your passcode. You're required to set up a passcode in order to use Face ID.
  4. 4 - Tap Set Up Face ID.
    • Remarque : For this tutorial, we're showing how to set up Face ID. You can also set up your phone to unlock only using a passcode, but steps may vary based on what you choose.
  5. 5 - Tap Get Started.
  6. 6 - With your face positioned within the camera frame, slowly rotate your head in a circle.
  7. 7 - Tap Continue.

  9. 9 - Tap Done.
    • Remarque : If necessary, enter and confirm a passcode to use when Face ID is not available.
  10. 10 - Press the Side button to put iPhone to sleep.
  11. 11 - Press the Side button to wake iPhone.
    • Remarque : You must be looking at iPhone to activate Face ID.
  12. 12 - Swipe up from the bottom of your screen to unlock iPhone.
  13. 13 - You've completed the steps!
