Using Touch ID or Face ID to log in to your TELUS SmartHome app

Log in to the TELUS SmartHome app

Tap the option at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen

Tap the (or , if available) toggle switch to enable the feature. This uses the Touch ID or Face ID that is already set up in the iOS device's settings : If Touch ID or Face ID is not currently set up in your iOS device's settings, follow these additional steps: a. Exit out of the TELUS SmartHome app b. Open your mobile device’s settings b. Tap (or , if available) c. Enter your passcode for your mobile phone d. Add the fingerprint for Touch ID or face for Face ID, and navigate back to the Customer app to complete the steps to enable Touch ID or Face ID for the TELUS SmartHome app

Enter a four-digit passcode as a backup if the alternate ID fails. Confirm the four-digit passcode

Tap

Touch ID or Face ID access is now enabled, so now any time the TELUS SmartHome app is opened on the device, it prompts to scan your finger or face.

Tap the (or , if available) toggle switch to disable the feature

If you want to disable your passcode, tap the toggle switch and enter your current passcode to disable it
