Setting up two-factor authentication (also known as “2FA”) is like using two locks on your door. The 2FA security process makes it much more difficult for an intruder to access your app and security settings, keeping your system and your property even more secure.
Whenever you sign into your system from a new or untrusted device, 2FA verifies your identity with your password and a one-time code using your preferred method (text, email or an authenticator app). This ensures that access to your account is secure.
To enable two-factor authentication, follow these steps first before selecting a method to enable 2FA:
To enable two-factor authentication for text message, follow these steps:
