How to use the Pik TV app for iOS & Android

The Pik TV mobile app is available for download on smartphones and tablets running iOS or Android mobile. Now you can watch live TV and access a large On Demand library of TV shows and movies on your mobile device with your Pik TV subscription.

The Pik TV mobile app is available for download on iPhones and iPads running iOS 13 and above or Android smartphones and tablets running Android 6 and above. Please note that the Pik TV app does not currently allow casting (using Chromecast or Airplay) or screen mirroring.

From the Home screen, you can see what’s on live TV, your programming, browse and or view your recent . You can also navigate to & at the top of your screen, or to , or at the bottom of your screen.

All Pik TV customers have access to the live TV content included in their subscription. Some channels are only available when connected to your home TELUS Internet service due to content provider restrictions. Live TV will show you what’s on now by category; Sports, News, Kids, Entertainment, Lifestyle, Learning, Movies & Multicultural.

During live TV playback in portrait mode, you can view details, see what’s on now and up next and browse other channels. To go full screen simply rotate your device to landscape mode. You can press once on the screen to bring up program information and turn on closed captioning (CC) or described video (AD). A second press will close the information and audio settings.

All Pik TV customers have access to the content included in their subscription as well as a selection of movies available for rental. You can browse by , , , , , , and more.

You can pause, rewind or fast forward TV content, but these features may be disabled on select programming by the content provider. You can pause, rewind or fast forward On Demand movies available for rental.

In the section, you can see what’s playing today and over the next week. Any shows with a home icon in the guide indicate that this programming is only available when connected to your TELUS home internet connection. You can also filter your guide by selecting the filter icon in the top right-hand corner of your screen. Filter options are:

You can use the search function to find a movie, TV show or cast member, using the on-screen keyboard. If searching for a movie or TV series, your search results will include both live and On Demand viewing options for your title. If searching for a specific cast member, your search results will provide a list of available live or titles where that cast member appeared.
