After installing all of your security sensors, the TELUS SmartHome app will guide you through a walk test to confirm all of your sensors are installed properly.

Reminders
:

  • The Control Panel must be armed during the Walk Test. When starting the Walk Test, your sensors will be triggered and the Control Panel will display the disarm code screen. Do not enter your Master Code until after you finish triggering all of your sensors

  • The Smoke Sensor and CO Detector may sound an alarm. You may use the Control Panel to silence the alarm. However, do not disarm the panel until after the Walk Test is complete and you are prompted to disarm from the mobile app
