Adding a Chamberlain LiftMaster MyQ® Smart Garage Hub (821LMB)
 to your home will allow you to integrate a wide range of garage door openers with your TELUS SmartHome Security system.

Integration instructions

To add your Chamberlain LiftMaster MyQ® Smart Garage Hub (821LMB) to your TELUS SmartHome Security system, follow these simple steps:

Before you start, ensure your MyQ® Garage is not registered through your MyQ®/Liftmaster/Chamberlain or other similar apps
Verify the LED on the Hub is solid green before registering through the TELUS SmartHome Security system web portal
Log into the
web portal
using your login credentials
In the left navigation bar, select
Settings
Select
Managed Devices
Select
Add Devices
in the top-right corner of the screen
Select
Garage Door
Select your device that matches the image and device name in the drop-down list and select
Next
Select
Register Gateway
Open or close your garage door using the wall control switch
In the
Serial Number
field, enter the serial number found on the back of your device and select
Continue
.
Note
: Upon successful pairing, you will see a confirmation message at the top of the screen that your device has been added successfully.
Select
Garage Door
again
Choose the device previously selected and select
Next
Select
Add Device
and select
Next
Select one of the supported options to link to your device:
To link to a Wall Panel
:
1. Select
  MyQ Wall Panel
2. Locate the
  Learn
  button on the wall control
3. Press the
  Learn
  button twice to pair your wall control. The red LED on the control panel will light up once pairing has been initiated
To link a Garage Door Opener
:
1. Select
  MyQ Garage Opener
2. Locate the
  Learn
  button on the garage door opener. This button can typically be found close to the wiring ports on the garage door opener
3. Press and hold the
  Learn
  button for 2 seconds to initiate pairing. The
  Learn
  LED on the garage door opener will light up once pairing has been initiated.
  Important
  : Do not hold the
  Learn
  button down for more than 6 seconds as this will erase all current devices from the opener’s memory.
Select
Check for New Devices
and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the pairing
To link another supported option to your device or if pairing is unsuccessful, please repeat steps 12-16
