Which voice assistants work with SmartHome+?

SmartHome+ is compatible with Amazon Alexa at launch, allowing you to control your devices with voice commands. Expanded compatibility for additional voice assistants is planned for upcoming releases.

What's the difference between Automation and SmartEnergy subscriptions?

While both allow you to control and schedule automated routines for energy-efficient devices like smart thermostats and smart plugs, the SmartEnergy subscription takes energy management further by monitoring home energy usage of connected compatible devices, providing estimated costs, and offering TELUS Rewards for participating in energy savings events. SmartEnergy subscribers also have 4 trees planted on their behalf each year as part of TELUS’ commitment to reforestation.

Can I add my existing smart devices?

How do I book a professional installation appointment?

Check eligibility: Visit the Shop Devices page and select the device you’re interested in. If professional installation is available, it will be indicated below the product’s Add button. Purchase your device: Add the device and subscription to your cart and complete your purchase. Schedule installation: After your purchase, log into your My TELUS account. There, you can schedule an installation appointment. You’ll find out if your address is eligible during this process. If you cancel your service subscription before the end of the 36-month financing period, you will still be charged for your equipment balance under your TELUS Easy Payment agreement. Included in the SmartEnergy subscription, one mangrove tree will be planted for every 3 months of continuous subscription.
