Sending a Text with an Attachment

Compose and send a standard SMS message with your device's text messaging app. You can send a text message to an individual or a group.

  1. Step 1/12

    From the Home screen, tap the Hub icon.

    The indicator is in the center.
  2. Step 2/12

    Tap the Compose icon.

    The indicator is in the center.
  3. Step 3/12

    Tap Text Message.

    The indicator is in the top left.
  4. Step 4/12

    Enter a contact name.

    The indicator is in the bottom left.
  5. Step 5/12

    Select the contact.

    The indicator is in the top left.
  6. Step 6/12

    Compose your message.

    The indicator is in the bottom left.

    Tap the Plus Sign icon.

    The indicator is towards the left.
  8. Step 8/12

    Tap the Gallery icon.

    Note: For this tutorial, we're selecting an image file. You can choose other types of attachments to send in a text, but steps may vary slightly based on what type of file you choose.

    Select a photo.

    The indicator is towards the top.
  10. Step 10/12

    Tap the Check Mark icon.

    The indicator is in the top right.

    When you're finished, tap the Send MMS icon.

    The indicator is towards the right.
