A feature of a device OS that lets you have multiple apps, widgets and services running at the same time. You can have notes, videos and browser windows hover over other apps on your device.

You can multitask with two applications on your device by using split screen. This will allow you to have two apps open at once.

  1. Step 1/7

    Press the Recent apps button to view your recent apps.

    The indicator is in the bottom right.
  2. Step 2/7

    Swipe to an app you'd like to view in split screen.

    The indicator is towards the left.
  3. Step 3/7

    Tap the icon for the app.

    The indicator is towards the top.
  4. Step 4/7

    Tap Split screen.

    The indicator is in the center.
  5. Step 5/7

    Select another app to view in split screen.

    The indicator is in the center.
  6. Step 6/7

    To exit split screen, drag the Split Screen bar to the top or bottom of the screen.

    The indicator is in the center.
