XP8Inserting and removing the nano SIM card

Your cellular service is activated through your SIM card which can be activated through your carriers account portal or through contacting your carrier directly; without it you cannot use cellular features. Current Step: 1 - Locate the back cover screw on the back of your device.
Don't touch the gold contacts on your SIM card. That could damage the card. If you’re using a new SIM card, you can activate it by calling your carrier.
  1. 1 - Locate the back cover screw on the back of your device.
  2. 2 - Unscrew the back cover from the device.
  3. 3 - Remove the device's back cover by lifting from the finger notch on either side of the back cover.
  4. 4 - Remove the battery using the finger notch.
  5. 5 - Slide the SIM card tray cover from left to right to unlock it.
  6. 6 - Lift the SIM card tray cover.
    • Remarque : A nano SIM card may already be inserted in your phone.
  7. 7 - Insert or remove the nano SIM card into or from the tray with the gold contacts facing away from the SIM card tray cover.
  8. 8 - Close the SIM card tray cover.
  9. 9 - Slide the SIM card tray cover from right to left to lock it.
  10. 10 - Replace the battery, matching the contacts on the battery with the contacts in the battery slot.
  11. 11 - Replace the back cover, pressing on each corner to make sure it's secure.
  12. 12 - Screw the back cover to the device.
  13. 13 - You've completed the steps!
