Connecting your Watch to the TELUS network

In order to connect your watch to your carrier's network, you need to set up cellular on your device. Some carriers may require you to enter an APN to connect to their network.

  1. Note: In order to connect Apple Watch to the TELUS network, you must have iOS 11.2 or newer on a compatible device including: iPhone SE, 6s, 6s Plus, 7, 7 Plus, 8, 8 Plus, X or newer. Your carrier settings must also be version 31.1 or newer.

    From the Watch app main screen on iPhone, scroll to Cellular.

    The indicator is towards the bottom.
  3. Step 2/18

    Tap Cellular.

    The indicator is towards the top.
  4. Step 3/18

    Tap Set Up Cellular.

    The indicator is towards the top.
  5. Step 4/18

    Tap the Email/Username field.

    The indicator is in the center.
  6. Step 5/18

    Enter your email address or username.

    The indicator is towards the bottom.

    Tap return.

    The indicator is in the bottom right.

    Enter your password.

    The indicator is towards the bottom.

    Scroll to Continue.

    Tap Continue.

    Tap Get started.

    Tap Agree.

    Tap Continue.

    Note: If you would like to provide a different emergency address, scroll to Enter another address and tap Fill the forms.

    Tap Confirm.

    Tap Accept.

    Tap Finish.

    Scroll to Close.

    Note: If necessary, tap OK. Your carrier should now be listed under "CELLULAR PLAN" within the Watch app Cellular screen.
