Calling a contact

Apple Watch Series 4 on watchOS 8.0.1

Use your saved contacts to call them instead of typing out their number from memory.

  1. Step 1/6

    From the Phone app main screen, tap Contacts.

    The indicator is in the center.
  2. Step 2/6

    Scroll to a contact.

    The indicator is towards the right.
  3. Step 3/6

    Select a contact to view.

    The indicator is in the center.
  4. Step 4/6

    Tap the Phone icon to call the contact.

    Note: For this tutorial we are calling a contact's mobile number. You may choose to call via FaceTime Audio, but steps may differ.

    Tap mobile.

    Note: You can also send a message or email from this screen.
