Inserting and Removing the SIM Card

ALCATEL U50 on Android 7.0.0

Learn how to insert and remove a SIM card from your device. Your cellular service is activated through your SIM card; without it you cannot use cellular features. Note that a SIM card tray removal tool may be needed.

  1. The indicator is in the bottom left.

    Remove the phone's back cover by lifting from the finger notch.

    Remove the battery using the finger notch.

    Slide the nano SIM card in or out of the slot with the gold contacts facing the front of the phone.

    Replace the battery, matching the contacts on the battery with the contacts in the battery slot.

    Replace the back cover, pressing on each corner to make sure it's secure.
