Setting up a lock on your device will help keep your information secure. A screen lock will prevent others from getting into your device unless they have the necessary credentials. If your device is requesting a PUK code, you need to contact your carrier to unlock your device. Removing your security lock will allow anyone the ability to unlock your device.

Setting up a lock on your device will help keep your information secure. A screen lock will prevent others from getting into your device unless they have the necessary credentials. Current Step: 1 - From the Home screen, drag down the Notification panel.

  3. 3 - Scroll to Lock screen.
  4. 4 - Tap Lock screen.
  5. 5 - Tap Select screen lock.
  6. 6 - Tap PIN.
    • Remarque : For this simulation, we're showing how to set up a PIN. You can select a different type of security, but steps may vary based on what you choose.
  7. 7 - Enter your PIN.
    • Remarque : Your PIN must be at least 4 numbers long.
  8. 8 - Tap NEXT.
  9. 9 - Confirm your PIN.
  10. 10 - Tap OK.
  11. 11 - Select a notification preference.
    • Remarque : Tap Hide sensitive only to prevent the content of emails, texts and other notifications from appearing on the Lock screen. You'll be notified that you have a new message, but not shown what the message contains.
  12. 12 - Tap OK.
  13. 13 - You've completed the steps!
