Changing the Wallpaper

Motorola Moto X Play on Android 7.1.1

The background image for your device, also known as the wallpaper, can be changed in settings. You can use your own image as a wallpaper or choose from the default images on your device. You can change the lock screen and home screen backgrounds.

  1. Step 1/6

    From the Home screen, touch and hold an empty area.

    The indicator is in the center.
  2. Step 2/6

    Tap WALLPAPERS.

    Note: For this simulation, we're selecting static wallpapers. You can also select one of your own images from the Gallery app.

    The indicator is in the bottom left.
  3. Step 3/6

    Select a wallpaper.

    The indicator is in the bottom right.
  4. Step 4/6

    Tap Set wallpaper.

    The indicator is in the top left.
  5. Step 5/6

    Tap Home screen.

    Note: For this simulation, we're changing the wallpaper on the Home screen. You can also change the wallpaper on the Lock screen.

    The indicator is in the center.

    You've completed the steps!
