Changing the Picture Storage Location

Motorola Moto X Play on Android 7.1.1

You can store pictures and videos on your device or on an SD card. Saving pictures and videos on your SD card frees up storage space on your device and makes it easier to transfer them to your new device.

    From the Camera app, swipe to Settings.

    The indicator is towards the left.

    Scroll the Settings wheel to the STORAGE LOCATION icon.

    The indicator is in the bottom left.

    Tap the STORAGE LOCATION icon.

    The indicator is towards the left.
  4. Step 4/5

    Tap SD card.

    The indicator is in the center.
