Setting up a passcode on your device will help keep your information secure. A screen lock will prevent others from getting into your device unless they have the necessary credentials.

Current Step: 1 - From the Home screen, tap Settings.

    From the Home screen, tap Settings.

    Scroll to and tap Face ID & Passcode.

    • Note:

      If your device has a home button, this option will read as Touch ID & Passcode.

  3. 3 -

    Scroll to and tap Turn Passcode On.

  4. 4 -

    Enter a passcode.

  5. 5 -

    Confirm your new passcode.

  6. 6 -

    You've completed the steps!
