Place a FaceTime call to another iPhone. This can be done using a phone number or the registered email address on your contact's icloud account.

  1. Step 1/10

    From the Home screen, tap FaceTime.

    The indicator is in the top left.
  2. Step 2/10

    Tap New FaceTime.

    The indicator is in the top right.
  3. Step 3/10

    Tap the Plus sign icon.

    The indicator is in the top right.
  4. Step 4/10

    Tap the Search bar.

    The indicator is towards the top.
  5. Step 5/10

    Enter a contact name.

    Note: To make a FaceTime call, you need the person's phone number or registered email address.

    The indicator is towards the bottom.
  6. Step 6/10

    Select the contact.

    The indicator is towards the top.
  7. Step 7/10

    Tap FaceTime.

    Note: In order to make a FaceTime call, your contact must also have an iPhone with FaceTime.

    The indicator is towards the top.
  8. Step 8/10

    Tap FaceTime again.

    The indicator is in the center.
  9. Step 9/10

    To hang up, tap the End icon.

    The indicator is in the top right.
