Locating the OBD-II port on your vehicle

Learn how to make sure your vehicle is compatible with the device and where to find your OBD-II port.
Note: Before getting started, make sure to check your vehicle compatibility. Please visit telus.com/drive to access the vehicle compatibility tool. Most vehicles year 1996 or newer have an OBD-II port. Electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles are not compatible with Drive+.

During the process of adding a new vehicle, tap Need help locating your OBD port?.
Note: To access this screen, you must have already started adding a new device and scanned its IMEI.

Tap Find Your Car's OBD Port Locator.

Scroll to the SELECT YEAR dropdown.
Step 3/17 - 4.
Tap Select Year.
Step 4/17 - 5.
Select your vehicle year.
Step 5/17 - 6.
Tap Done.

Tap the SELECT MAKE dropdown.

Select your vehicle's manufacturer.

Tap Done.

Tap the SELECT MODEL dropdown.

Select your vehicle model.

Tap Done.

Tap the SELECT ENGINE dropdown.

Select your vehicle's engine type.

Tap Done.
Note: After this step, you'll receive automatic notification whether your vehicle is compatible with Drive+.
