Enabling a SIM PIN allows you to secure your SIM card by requiring a PIN to be entered every time you restart your device or remove the SIM card.

Current Step: 1 - From within the Settings app, tap Cellular.

  2. 2 - Tap SIM PIN.
  3. 3 - Tap or slide the SIM PIN switch to ON.
    • Note: To disable your SIM PIN, you will need to toggle SIM PIN off.
  4. 4 - Enter your SIM PIN.
    • Note: If this is your first time ever enabling a SIM PIN, you will need to enter the default SIM PIN provided by your service provider. Guessing your SIM PIN can result in being locked out of service.
  5. 5 - You've completed the steps!
