Using accessibility shortcuts

Samsung Galaxy XCover 4 on Android 9.0.0

Accessibility shortcuts allow you to have direct access to certain device functions from the shortcut option. These can include swiping actions or button actions.

  1. Step 1/10

    From the Home screen, drag down the Notification panel.

    The indicator is towards the top.
  2. Step 2/10

    Tap the Settings icon.

    The indicator is in the top right.
  3. Step 3/10

    Scroll to Accessibility.

    The indicator is in the center.
  4. Step 4/10

    Tap Accessibility.

    The indicator is in the center.

    Tap Advanced settings.

    The indicator is towards the bottom.

    Tap Volume up and down keys.

    Note: From this screen you can make changes to your accessibility shortcuts.

    Tap or slide the Volume up and down keys switch to On.

    The indicator is towards the top.
  8. Step 8/10

    Tap Selected service.

    The indicator is in the center.
  9. Step 9/10

    Select your preferred service.

    The indicator is towards the top.
