Your device can be secured with a password making it so no one can get into your device without entering your password. If you forget your password you will have to reset your device and you will lose any information that is not backed up.

Current Step: 1 - From the Home screen, drag down the Notification panel.

  3. 3 - Tap Lock screen.
  4. 4 - Tap Screen lock type.
  5. 5 - Tap Password.
    • Remarque : For this tutorial, we're showing how to set up a Password. You can select a different type of security, but steps may vary based on what you choose.
  6. 6 - Enter your password.
    • Remarque : Your PIN must be at least 4 numbers long.
  7. 7 - Tap Continue.
  8. 8 - Confirm your password.
  9. 9 - Tap OK.
  10. 10 - Select a notification preference.
    • Remarque : Tap Hide content to prevent the content of emails, texts and other notifications from appearing on the Lock screen. You'll be notified that you have a new message, but not shown what the message contains.
  11. 11 - Tap Done.
  12. 12 - Tap Agree.
  13. 13 - You've completed the steps!
