Using Apps Edge

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge on Android 7.0.0

Learn how to use Apps Edge on your device. The Apps edge displays your five most frequently used apps for you to access at a moment's notice. Add shortcuts to apps or functions you enjoy using most with your phone, such as taking selfies, creating new calendar events or sending a text.

    From the Home screen, tap Apps.

    The indicator is in the bottom right.
  2. Step 2/11

    Tap Settings.

    The indicator is in the center.
  3. Step 3/11

    Tap Display.

    The indicator is towards the left.
  4. Step 4/11

    Scroll to Edge screen.

    The indicator is towards the bottom.
  5. Step 5/11

    Tap Edge screen.

    The indicator is in the center.

    Tap Edge panels.

    The indicator is in the center.
  7. Step 7/11

    Tap EDIT beneath the Apps edge column. If neccessary, tap the Check mark to enable to People edge.

    The indicator is in the bottom left.

    Tap and hold the App you'd like to add.

    The indicator is in the center.

    Drag an App to an empty space on the Edge screen panel.

    The indicator is in the center.

    Tap the Minus icon to remove an app from an Edge screen. Repeat these steps to add or delete more apps to the Edge screen.

    The indicator is towards the right.
