Current Step: 1 - Tap Start.
This tutorial will walk you through the process of using Smart Switch to copy data from an older phone using a wireless connection during the initial setup of your Galaxy.
  1. 1 - Tap Start.
  2. 2 - Review and confirm the information then tap Agree.
  3. 3 - Select your Wi-Fi network, enter its password, and tap Connect.
    • Remarque : To enable wireless transfer, ensure your old device is connected to the same network.
  4. 4 - Tap Next.
  5. 5 - Tap Next again.
    • Remarque : Tap Can’t use old device? if you would like to restore your information from a Google backup instead.
  6. 6 - Tap Next again.
  7. 7 - Scroll to and tap Allow.
  8. 8 - Tap Galaxy/Android.
    • Remarque : If you are transferring information from an Apple device, instead tap iPhone/iPad.
  9. 9 - Tap Wireless.
  10. 10 - On your old device, download and open the Smart Switch app, then tap Send data.
  11. 11 - Tap Wireless.
  12. 12 - Tap Allow.
  13. 13 - On your new Galaxy, choose what you'd like to copy and then tap Next.
    • Remarque : After this step, follow the steps on your old device to copy your Google account and backups. Your data will be transferred while you continue setting up your new device.
  14. 14 - You've completed the steps!
