Current Step: 1 - From the Settings app, scroll to Digital Wellbeing and parental controls.
  1. 1 - From the Settings app, scroll to Digital Wellbeing and parental controls.
  2. 2 - Tap Digital Wellbeing and parental controls.
  3. 3 - Scroll to Parental controls.
  4. 4 - Tap Parental controls.
  5. 5 - Tap Get started.
  6. 6 - Select who will be using this device.
    • Note: For this tutorial, we will be selecting Parent.
  7. 7 - Tap Get Family Link.
    • Note: The Google Family Link app does not come preinstalled on your device and will need to be downloaded from the Play Store.
  8. 8 - Tap Open to launch the Google Family Link app.
  9. 9 - Select your desired Google account.
    • Note: You will need to create a Google account if one does not exist to continue.
  10. 10 - Select if your child has a Google account.
    • Note: You will need to create a Google account for them if one does not exist to continue.
  11. 11 - Follow the on-screen instructions on the child's device to link their Google account to yours, then tap Done.
  12. 12 - You've completed the steps!
