Managing data usage

Monitor your data usage by checking it in Settings. You can set up data alerts to warn you if you are approaching your limit and set data limits to prevent overages.

From the Home screen, swipe up to view your apps.

Tap Settings

Tap Connections.

Tap Data usage.

Tap Mobile data usage.

Tap the Settings icon.
Note: You can also turn off mobile data when you're in areas where you don't want to use any data.

Tap or slide the Set data warning switch to ON.
Note: From this screen, you can limit your data usage and set up alerts for when you're reaching your data usage limits for the current month.

Tap Data warning.

Enter your prefered data usage warning.

Tap Set.

Tap or slide the Limit mobile data usage to ON.

Tap OK.

Tap Data limit.

Enter your preferred data usage limit.

Tap Set.
Step 15/19 - 16.
Tap Start billing cycle on.
Step 16/19 - 17.
Select a new usage cycle reset date.
Note: It is recommended that you match this date to the date your billing starts to more accurately manage your data.
