You’ll need:

1. Insert the doorbell wires through the hole in the mounting wall plate

2. Insert the doorbell wires through the hole in the mounting bracket

3. Place the mounting bracket and wall plate over the marked location for the screws 
4. Screw the mounting bracket and wall plate into the siding or wall
