Tap the
Touch ID
(or
Face ID
, if available) toggle switch to enable the feature. This uses the Touch ID or Face ID that is already set up in the iOS device's settings
Note
: If Touch ID or Face ID is not currently set up in your iOS device's settings:
a. Exit out of the TELUS SmartHome app and enter into your mobile device’s settings
b. Tap
Touch ID & Passcode
(or
Face ID & Passcode
, if available)
c. Enter your passcode for your mobile phone
d. Add the fingerprint for Touch ID or face for Face ID, then navigate back to the Customer app to complete the steps to enable Touch ID or Face ID for the TELUS SmartHome app
