Prepaid top-ups: online and over the phone

How to make one-time or automatic top-ups to your prepaid account

To make one-time top-ups or set up automatic top-ups, you can register the following methods of payment online or over the phone:

This design ensures your balance never reaches zero and that your services remain active at all times.

Register your credit card

Register your credit card online

  1. Log in to your My TELUS account
  2. Select the Account activity tab
  3. Select Register my credit card
  4. Enter the required credit card details
  5. Select Continue
  6. Wait for confirmation that your credit card registration was successful

Register your credit card on the My TELUS app with your prepaid smartphone

  1. Log in to the My TELUS app
  2. Select Register payment card from the menu
  3. Enter your credit card details. Select Continue
  4. Confirm details and submit

Register your credit card on the My TELUS app with your prepaid phone

  1. Call #123
  2. Enter your 4-6 digit Security PIN (Personal Identification Number)
  3. Press 5 to register a credit card. Follow the prompts to provide your credit card details
  4. Wait for confirmation that your credit card was successfully registered

Note: You may call 1-877-277-7745 from another device. You will need to enter your subscriber number and PIN before registering your credit card.

Make a payment using a credit card

Make a one-time payment online

  1. Log in to your My TELUS account
  2. From the Overview tab, click Top-up your account
  3. Select Credit card from the menu
  4. Choose your top-up amount
  5. Enter the required credit card information
  6. Select Continue

The top-up amount is added to your TELUS Prepaid account balance.

Set up automatic top-ups online

  1. Log in to your My TELUS account
  2. Select the Account activity tab
  3. Select Automatic top-ups
  4. Select Set up automatic top-ups
  5. Choose your top-up preference
  6. Choose your top-up amount
  7. Enter the required credit card information
  8. Select Continue. Wait for confirmation that the registration was successful as well as details on your next top-up date and amount

Set up automatic top-ups over the phone

  1. Call #123
  2. Enter your 4-6 digit Security PIN (Personal Identification Number)
  3. Press 2 and follow the prompts to set up automatic top-ups

Note: You may call 1-877-277-7745 from another device. You will need to enter your subscriber number and PIN before completing this process.

Make a payment using a debit card

Set up automatic top-ups online

  1. Log in to your TELUS account
  2. From the Overview tab select Top-up your account
  3. Select INTERAC Online
  4. Choose your top-up amount
  5. Select Continue
  6. Enter the required account information
  7. Select Continue.ait for confirmation that your balance has been topped-up

Note: If you close the browser before receiving confirmation that your balance was updated, the top-up may fail. Notification that the amount has been deducted from your bank account is not confirmation of the top-up.

Make a payment using a prepaid voucher

Use a prepaid voucher PIN online

  1. Log in to your My TELUS account
  2. From the Overview tab, select Top-up your account
  3. Select Top-up PIN. Enter the 12 digit PIN in the space provided
  4. Select Continue and wait for confirmation that your top-up was successful

Use a prepaid voucher PIN on the My TELUS app

  1. Log in to the My TELUS app
  2. Select Top-up
  3. Select Voucher
  4. Select Top-up account
  5. Enter the 12 digit PIN
  6. Select Top-up now
  7. Confirm details and submit

Use a prepaid voucher PIN over the phone

  1. Call #123
  2. Select 1 to top-up and follow the prompts to enter the 12 digit PIN
  3. Wait for confirmation that your top-up was successful
