As we upgrade your experience, there are certain app settings that will not be synchronized between the Optik TV app and the TELUS TV+ app. These include favourites, bookmarks (your viewing history and resume feed), purchase and parental PINs, Closed Captioning and Described Video.
With the new TELUS TV+ app, your favourites will be reset. You can add favourite shows from the details page of On Demand programming, or, on the TELUS TV+ mobile app and browser, you can favourite an upcoming program from the guide. Simply select the show to bring up the program details and select the heart icon to add to favourites.
With the new TELUS TV+ app, your bookmarks will be reset and appear automatically. Any new On Demand programs that you leave before the end will appear in
Resume
on the TELUS TV+ home screen. If you finish an episode in a series, the next available episode will also appear in
Resume
on your home screen.
Purchase and Parental PINs
With the new TELUS TV+ app, Parental and Purchase PINs are set at the account level, and are synchronized across all of your TELUS TV+ apps. To set a new 4-digit PIN, you can go to

Closed captioning and Described video

menu on your TELUS TV+ mobile app or from
Settings
on the TELUS TV+ app for Apple TV, Android TV or browser. You can also toggle Closed Captioning and Described Video during live playback by bringing up program details by touching the screen on your TELUS TV+ mobile app, touching the down button on your Siri remote for Apple TV or moving your mouse on the TELUS TV+ browser.
