Requirements and restrictions
Subscription to TELUS Internet, Optik TV, Pik TV and live channels is required. Licensing and rights limitations mean that not all programs and channels are available when not connected to your TELUS home internet

The TELUS TV+ mobile app can only be used in Canada
The TELUS TV+ mobile app is available for download on iPhone and iPad devices running iOS 13 and above, or Android smartphones and tablets running Android 8 and above.
Follow the steps below to use Chromecast to stream or share content from the TELUS TV+ app to any Chromecast-enabled device.

Select the TV you want to cast the video to. The TV must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the device using the TELUS TV+ app for this to work.
The video from the TELUS TV+ app should now be broadcast onto your TV.

All Optik TV customers have access to the live TV content included in their subscription. Live TV will show you what’s on now by category:

During live TV playback in portrait mode, you can view

and browse other channels. You can also record your current program by tapping the record icon.
To go full screen, simply rotate your device to landscape mode. You can press once on the screen to bring up program information and turn on
(AD). A second press will close the information and audio settings.

All Optik TV customers have access to the On Demand content included in their subscription as well as a selection of On Demand movies available for rental. You can browse by

You can also filter your guide by selecting the filter icon in the top right-hand corner of your screen. Filter options are:

When you select a program that is on now, it will take you to the live TV player.
When you select a program that is airing in the future, it will bring up the episode information page. From here you can watch the episode On Demand if it’s available, set a recording either for the episode or for the series, view showtimes or On Demand availability.
You can use the search function to find a movie, TV show or cast member, using the on-screen keyboard. If searching for a movie or TV series, your search results will include both live and On Demand viewing options for your title. If searching for a specific cast member, your search results will provide a list of available live or On Demand titles where that cast member appeared.
