Remote LED
- flashes green once to acknowledge a button press on the TELUS Remote. 2 flashes indicate success, 3 flashes indicate low battery and 6 flashes indicate an error. Continual flashing indicates that a firmware upgrade is in process.
Mic LED
- is illuminated solid white when the Google Assistant is activated and listening. Flashes white when the remote is in pairing mode.
Input
- allows you to change HDMI inputs when the TELUS Remote is used to control your TV.
Power
- wakes up the TELUS TV Digital Box or returns it to stand-by mode. Turns your TV power on or off when the TELUS Remote is being used to control your TV.
Netflix
- launches the Netflix application. Additional subscription may be required.
on demand
- launches the TELUS On Demand catalogue.
Prime Video
- launches the Amazon Prime Video application. Additional subscription may be required.
Skip back
- skip back 30 seconds.
apps
- opens a list of featured and applications and displays applications downloaded to the TELUS TV Digital Box
Skip forward
- skip ahead 30 seconds.
Home
- returns you to the TELUS TV home screen.
up
- press once to navigate up. In playback mode, press once to display the live guide.
down
- press once to navigate down. In playback mode, press
once to display the live guide.
left
- press once to navigate left. In playback mode, press once to skip back or press and hold to rewind.
right
- press once to navigate right. In playback mode, press once to skip
ahead or press and hold to fast forward.
OK
- confirms your selection. Wakes up the TELUS TV Digital Box from standby mode.
Back/exit
- returns you to the previous screen. Returns you to the Home screen when in playback mode.
Guide
- opens the full guide.
Volume up/down
- increases/decreases the volume.
Google Assistant
- activates the Google Assistant and turns on the microphone. You can say commands like ‘What’s on now?’ to open the guide, ‘Go to channel 400’ to change channels or ‘Open Netflix’ to launch the Netflix application.
Mute
- mutes/unmutes the volume.
Channel up/down
- tunes to the next/previous channel. When in the guide, acts as page forward/page back.
Number pad
- allows you to tune directly to a desired channel using the numbers 0-9.
Previous channel
- returns you to the previously viewed channel.
Options
- brings up channel information and allows you to open the live guide, turn on closed captioning or described video (where available).
