13. The below chart highlights the point accumulation criteria for the Program based on the customer’s product makeup. Customers will earn Points depending on the amount spent on Internet, Smart Hub, SmartHome Security, and Optik TV including monthly service fees, overages, features, and pay-per-use, video on demand purchases, all rental charges and customer premise equipment, and all product-level credits and adjustments. Customers will earn Points depending on the amount spent on Postpaid TELUS Mobility Account including monthly price plan fees and recurring charges. From time to time, Customers may be eligible to earn bonus points or get special offers by completing select activities as set out by the terms and conditions of the offer as the case may be (see point 15). Point accumulation within the Program is not retroactive and only begins once the customer has successfully activated their TELUS Rewards account and accepted this Program Agreement. SmartEnergy customers are the only exception and will be able to earn TELUS Rewards points by completing energy events prior to account activation, however SmartEnergy customers need to activate their Rewards Account for redeeming points.
