Why is the increase shown on my invoice greater than the increase stated in the letter I received?
: The total amount appearing on your statement or pre-authorized payment will vary depending on whether you have selected monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual billing. Also, your increase may be slightly more due to applicable taxes added by your local municipality.
For some customers, the monthly rate increase that was scheduled to be implemented on May 1, 2021, was incorrectly applied to their account on April 1. Impacted customers received an account credit to offset the incorrect timing of the increase and it is reflected on their bill.
